Walkthrough of EA Sports UFC - some useful tips. EA Sports UFC Walkthrough - Some Helpful Tips With sweat, blood and broken bones

Combinations, framedata, target list, hitconferm, mixups - all this is an inseparable part of ordinary and not so fighting games designed for a specific audience. This fictional entertainment with colorful characters and fireballs from hands has no analogues in the real world. In the case of mixed martial arts, a completely different scheme works - it is much more of a simulator than a fun fight.

But since we are talking about “virtual martial arts,” is it possible to play Is UFC 2 exactly the same as regular fighting games? In this review, we will try to answer this question, and at the same time find out what the second part has achieved in comparison with its predecessor and whether it has become at least a little more accessible to the average user.

Learning the basics

We can immediately mention the “K.O.” mode, in which strikes play the main role, and grips and painful holds are relegated to the background. You can easily spend a few fun evenings here after the standard introduction, where we are told about the main blows. You don't have to go into the details of the creepy controls and just have fun. By the way, in “K.O.” even the health of the fighters is divided into sections. Missed a certain number of blows - that's it, knockout. This is where the regime got its name.

Training in UFC 2, compared to the first part, they were built differently. There, a whole bunch of information was dumped on the player, the brain was overloaded with it, and there was no time to really remember anything. In the sequel, as we have already said, the main attacks are explained in the intro, and all other subtleties are explained in the Challenges mode. At its core, it is not a tutorial, but only allows you to practice all elements of combat mechanics until they are automatic. The thing is that, for example, having visited the Grappling section for the first time, they will explain to you the principle of operation of this element - grips, to be more precise. And then there is practice, gradually the controls are memorized. Much more convenient than in the first part.

As for the control itself, it has been noticeably simplified, and, of course, this applies to grips, painful locks and clinches. You no longer need to make quarter circles on a stick in the hope that something will come out that is stored in your memory. You just need to pull the stick to the side, and an interactive interface element will tell you in text the position or technique that such an action will lead to. This became possible thanks to the upper bumpers on the gamepad - especially tricky tricks are performed with the help of them. It was high time to do this!

But there are also problems - the game doesn't make much effort to clarify its own subtle points. For example, who knew that the controls were inverted depending on the camera? No one brings this to the attention of the player. There are not that many such moments, but the fact of their presence is somewhat discouraging. I would also like to see a more visual presentation of information in the Challenges mode - in its current form it is easy to miss important information dropped in passing between the lines. The essence is caught only after several failed attempts.

Sweat, blood and broken bones

IN UFC 2 Electronic Arts Canada decided to diversify the game modes somewhat, but it turned out all wrong. For example, random events were added to the career mode - missing a workout due to repairs in the gym, injury, or simply the desire of a sponsored fighter to get some sleep. But all these accidents are so rare and have such little impact on the overall picture of development that you simply don’t notice them. Otherwise, everything is as usual - we create a fighter with below-average characteristics, train him, and become a champion. All. Got a leg injury? Well, just think, the limb will hit weaker, everything heals through battle.

By the way, let's say a word about character generation. There are criminally few elements of customization: a pair of shorts for everyone, a couple of tops for women, a bunch of tattoos - you've had enough. It’s quite difficult to make someone sane using the editor; you have to choose from preset faces, but everyone there is completely crocodiles. This is easily explained by the specifics of the UFC, but you can’t even make a female fighter with at least a pleasant appearance, and you can’t look at the preparations without tears. It's not that you have to imagine a bag on your character's head, but you would like to have an adequate tool for sculpting faces. However, all 260 real fighters in UFC 2, including female ones, are made just perfectly, but they differ only in the victory animation and some restrictions in special techniques... Well, you won’t be able to Tekken.

But let's return, actually, to the modes. IN UFC 2 debuted Ultimate Team, the main cash cow of all Electronic Arts sports simulators. “Team” in this case means having five fighters at your disposal. As you may have guessed, “packs” are opened for currency, which can also be obtained for real money. Naturally, it will be much more convenient to purchase a new one from a set strong fighter, than some improvement like the Superman Punch skill. You can upgrade standard characteristics and skills, but again, who needs it if Once again maybe the same McGregor will fall off the cover?

Then there are the usual network modes, single battles and the same K.O. Honestly, I would like a more interesting career mode, but the debut of Ultimate Team is not even at all embarrassing, it was natural. You have to dive into the combat mechanics - here lie both the advantages and disadvantages of the game. On a positive note, I would like to highlight the standing game. You need to calculate the distance to the enemy, the speed of the strike, the position of the enemy’s block (upper or lower). For example, than longer distance, the more time there will be to read the blow. It works great and we really liked it. There is no such thing in fighting games, if there is a starting animation, but be kind enough to view it completely before hitting.

Problems still remain in gripping and other difficult aspects of the game. Difficult not only because you still need to spend time in training, but also because of the problems of implementing such an element real fights. If in broadcasts you can clearly see the struggle for dominance in the ring, then in games there are problems with this. The fighters still act unrealistically, like in wrestling. They pulled the stick to the side - the character made a sharp tilt. The opponent interrupted you by pressing R2 and guessed your movement - again a sharp jump to the starting position. It doesn't look like a caricature, Electronic Arts can still be understood, but it doesn't have any realism. And there’s also a huge contrast with the same wrestling while standing - in UFC 2 improved the physics of knockouts, and now they finally look adequate and spectacular almost always. We hope that the same will happen to other aspects of this simulator someday.

Scary, beautiful

What it excels at is the graphics. This is simply great! The cuts look very cool, the blood, as before, evokes animal fear, the fighters’ muscles move realistically under a thin layer of skin, their faces contort in terrible grimaces, which are very easy to read emotions when watching a replay. It's impossible to say UFC 2 has made great strides forward in terms of visualization, the magic is simply working again, for which Electronic Arts can only be praised. However, the same can be said about the soundtrack and music. The beats don't make you laugh like in a Bruce Lee movie, the crowd roars like mad, and a huge number of licensed tracks, ranging from African-American rappers to Bring Me The Horizon, are complemented by excellent compositions from Electronic Arts itself. The score was scored again, and it was predictable.

UFC on Android is a mixed martial arts competition.

The game is interesting because it is related to the real UFC organization, which is the organizer of mixed martial arts and martial arts competitions. All the fight participants you will meet here are real people with real names and similar appearance who have ever taken part in these fights. Install UFC on Android and start getting to know the participants.

Spend energy on your victory.

We will participate in fights in the ring, simultaneously demonstrating all our skills and signature combinations. The game has an energy scale, but the number of rounds played does not depend on it (even if it is at zero, you can continue the game). It is designed to increase your power. Before the start of each battle, we see the characteristics of our fighters and under their photographs there are digital values, for example, yours is 309, and the enemy’s is 311. So, if you, with the help of your energy, make this number greater than that of your opponent (even by two or three units) – you will significantly increase your chances of winning. In addition to this data, we will see our indicators on the screen - health, stamina and ground game (we cannot change this data manually). To feel more confident, improve individual strokes. You can use them only a few times in one round (depending on the level you have reached and how many of these techniques you have accumulated).

Master the principle of striking and defensive maneuvers.

When entering the ring, it is very important to master the control of your hero. The blows are light (point pressure with right side touch screen), medium-heavy (pressed and swiped to the right), heavy-duty (a combination of several taps). Don't forget to dodge oncoming attacks (swipe left from the left side), and place blocks to defend (press simultaneously on the left and right sides). Above each participant in the battle there are damage level indicators. When it approaches zero, you can effectively knock out your opponent. Some players don't like that the developers didn't show the damage to the fighters. Whichever swipe you or you were not inflicted - you will not see bruises and bruises. On the other hand, if you don’t like rivers of blood, then the game is completely suitable for you.

Train your fighter - this is the path to success.

To enhance a player’s capabilities, it is necessary to purchase special training sets. They include certain strikes and combinations. The cost of such a set is a box of 2000 coins. It is possible to get them by reaching a certain level and unlocking the lock on such a chest. Each strike has its own card with a name: powerful hook, straight kick, flying knee strike, etc. You can get each of these cards only after reaching a certain level.

If you want to win, train a fighter.

For every round you win, you will receive a salary. Use this money to upgrade your shots and player. This is necessary to defeat different fighters weight categories. When you accumulate enough funds, you can change your hero and start upgrading his special abilities.

Download UFC on Android. This is a game of good quality will help brighten up your free time.

The fashion for fighting games has arrived in the App Store and Google Play, and no one doubts this anymore. EA Sports UFC is another game from this popular genre, and it offers you a choice of seventy real-life fighters who compete in the championship mixed martial arts UFC. How to start your character's fighting career as correctly and effectively as possible? The answer to this question will be our selection of tips and tricks.

Best defense is attack

Judging by the developments in EA Sports UFC, the more successful player is the one who chooses offensive tactics rather than defensive ones. Yes, you can dodge and block attacks, but doing so while anticipating your opponent's attacks requires more than just luck. Therefore, it is much more correct to choose an attacking fighting style, and not to stop your chain of attacks for a second - this way you will not allow your opponent to go on the offensive and quickly reduce his health level.

Spontaneity is the key to success

If you do choose an attacking style, don't be predictable. Your strikes don't always have to be the same - if you alternate light strikes with medium and very powerful ones, your chances of winning will increase significantly. This tactic will confuse your opponent and allow you to deal with him faster. The sooner the battle ends, the sooner you will receive rewards and move further up your career ladder.

Watch the distance

As you attack, your special ability meter will gradually fill up. The main thing is that you can use your ability correctly in battle, without missing an opportunity - this can decide the outcome of the battle. Always keep an eye on how far you are from your opponent, otherwise your special will miss the target and you'll just have to fight through the air. If your special attack fails, be prepared for the enemy to launch an intense counter-offensive.

Don't miss events

The events taking place in EA Sports UFC are copies of real-life fights. Try not to miss them - they bring extra money and rewards. Events like this happen quite often in the UFC, so keep an eye out for the pop-ups on your screen.

Don't forget about upgrades

As soon as you earn a certain amount of silver for successfully completed battles, immediately start purchasing upgrade kits. This needs to be done as often as possible - this is the only way you will make your fighter as competitive as possible in the ring. In the set you will receive five types of fighting techniques that will help you improve your special abilities. The main thing is to choose the right technique for your special attack.
