    MIPT

    You need to understand that this is a technical university with a very high passing score. In order for your application to be accepted, you need to score at least 50 points on the Unified State Exam in Russian, and at least 65 in mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science.

    Phystech, like all universities, will take into account the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren and some other competitions. For example, the tournament of cities, the Lomonosov Olympiad, the Moscow Olympiad for schoolchildren, the Open Programming Olympiad, a new Olympiad that appeared on the list of the Ministry of Education only this year - TechnoCup and others.

    For a certificate or diploma with honors, gold or silver medals, Phystech will add 2 points. You will receive the same number of points if you graduated from music or art school. The university will take into account not only the golden TRP badge, but also sports categories, belts in martial arts, the title of “Master of Sports” or “Candidate Master of Sports” (2 points).

    MGIMO

    To participate in the competition, you must score at least 70 points on the Unified State Exam in Russian and foreign languages. An exception is made only for some areas (among others, “Trading”, “Management”), where 60 points are enough.

    Who will be admitted to MGIMO without competition? Winners and runners-up of the final stage All-Russian Olympiad schoolchildren, members of Russian national teams who participated in international olympiads, and some other Olympiad athletes. Preferential admission is guaranteed to the winners and prize-winners of the television Olympiad "Clever Men and Smart Men", the MGIMO Olympiad of the Russian Foreign Ministry, which is held in partnership with the editorial office of Rossiyskaya Gazeta, the Lomonosov Olympiad in geography, as well as some others.

    SPbSU

    At St. Petersburg State University extra points the portfolio will be awarded not only to winners and runners-up Olympic Games, but also to members of Russian national teams. If these are Olympic sports, then 10 points will be added to the Unified State Examination; if these are not Olympic sports, 5 points will be added. The winners of the regional stages of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren can count on 4 points, the prize-winners - on 3.

    HSE, like many other prestigious universities, has a higher minimum score threshold. In “mathematics” this is 75 points in a core subject; in “physics” you must bring at least 70 points in both physics and mathematics. At HSE, you can get up to 10 points for an essay, which is always checked here, for a certificate with gold or silver medal- 3 points.

    If you are a master of sports, then you will receive an additional 3 points for the Unified State Examination; if you are a candidate for master of sports, then 2 points. HSE takes into account first and second level olympiads, but there are several third level olympiads for which the university can also give extra points. This is, for example, an Olympiad in discrete mathematics.

The admission campaign will begin soon. Are there any changes to the university admission procedure this year?

A special feature of this academic year for graduates was the division of the Unified State Examination in mathematics into basic and specialized levels. If mathematics is included in the list of entrance examinations of a university for any direction, then it must be mathematics at a specialized level, the minimum passing score for which is 27.

It is also important that you only need to pass the Unified State Exam in Russian with 24 points to get a certificate, but to enter a university you need to score at least 36 points.

Another important innovation is that universities have the opportunity to assign points for the individual achievements of applicants during admission. In addition to the total points on the Unified State Exam, you can get a maximum of 20 points. Additional points for individual achievements significantly increase the applicant's chances of admission.

Of these twenty points, a maximum of 10 can be obtained for an essay that graduates have already written in schools. The university rechecks the essay and assigns its own grade (evaluation criteria are developed at the federal level).

The second 10 points can be awarded for sports achivments, participation in the volunteer movement, academic achievements. For what exactly and how many points - each university decides independently, but the same rule for all is that the sum of all these achievements cannot exceed 10 points, even if the applicant has sports victories, a certificate with honors, and a prize-winning place at the Olympiad. In this case, he selects those achievements that are most highly valued in this educational institution.

How can I find out what exactly a particular university awards points for, and how can I provide evidence of my achievements?

All information about recording individual achievements must be posted on the university website as a separate document. When submitting documents, the applicant must indicate his achievements in the application for admission and present diplomas, certificates, etc. confirming them. As for the essay, the university commission takes it from the federal information system.

An applicant can apply to several universities at once. How many educational institutions and how many specialties can you enroll in in 2015?

There are no changes here: 5 universities, three areas of training in each. At the same time, enrollment, as before, is based on priorities - each applicant who indicates several areas of training must rank them from the most interesting to the least interesting. Documents can be submitted to universities either in person or by mail, or through an online application if educational institutions are located in other cities. When sending by mail, take into account the time: documents must arrive at the selection committee no later than July 24.

What is the enrollment pattern for 2015? What changed?

Traditionally, applicants for budget-funded places are enrolled in two stages, and this year these stages received quantitative confirmation. Applicants are enrolled in the first wave for 80% of the total number of budget places, in the second - 20%. As before, only those who submit original documents to the admissions committee are accepted. But if previously applicants who did not bring the originals in the first wave might not get into the second, since there were no places left, then this year there will definitely be 20% of the places.

However, it is very important for the applicant to correctly navigate where to submit the original certificate. We advise you to set your priorities in advance and decide on the choice of university. If you have high scores on the Unified State Exam and you understand that you have every chance of getting into the first wave of a particular university, we advise you to immediately submit original documents there so as not to miss your budget place.

If you do not do this, your place may be taken by an applicant with lower scores, and there will not be enough places for everyone in the second wave.

Have the deadlines for submitting documents and enrollment changed this year?

Yes, in 2015, admission of documents begins at all universities on June 19 and ends on July 24 for the first wave of applicants. A common deadline for accepting original documents has been established for all universities: strictly 18.00 on August 3. This applies to admission to budget places, and for tuition on a paid basis, the terms of enrollment are set by the decision of the organization. As a rule, this is the 20th of August.

Do universities increase the minimum Unified State Exam scores set by Rosobrnadzor?

Each university decides this for itself: we have the right to increase the minimum scores relative to the Ros-obrnadzor scale, but we cannot lower them. In a number of educational institutions, these scales coincide, but many universities set their own minimum: for example, 30 points in mathematics instead of 27, 40 in Russian (the Rosobrnadzor minimum is 36) and so on.

In 2015, did the number of budget places for applicants decrease?

As statistics show, in many universities the number of budget places, on the contrary, has increased. I would like to note that budget places are also available for distance learning.

Another interesting point: today it is possible to study for free even at commercial universities. Educational institutions have developed benefits for successful applicants: with a high score on the unified state exams, the student is given a 100% discount on the first semester, and with excellent results in all sessions, you can not pay for studies for the entire period of study.

Is it true that you can now enter a university only based on the results of the Unified State Exam? That is, people who graduated from school before 2009 will have to take the unified state exam?

Yes, indeed, persons who have only a general secondary education can enter a university (both full-time and part-time) only on the basis of the Unified State Examination results. In this case, the year of graduation does not matter.

We wish future graduates success in passing the Unified State Exam and admission to the university of their choice!

What will you get extra points for?

10 points- maximum for individual achievements:

  • silver/gold TRP badge
  • Certificate of secondary general education with honors
  • participation/winning places in Olympiads, etc.
  • volunteer activities
  • status of champion and prize-winner of the Olympic, Paralympic and Deaf Olympic Games, etc.

10 points- maximum grade for the final essay written in the final year of school. An essay written at school will be rechecked by a university commission and evaluated in accordance with federal criteria.

A total of 20 points can be obtained in addition to the total points on the Unified State Exam.

Admission dates 2015

  • July 19-24 - acceptance of documents.
  • 18.00 On August 3, the acceptance of original certificates ends.
  • August 4 - order to enroll the first wave.
  • 18.00 On August 6, the acceptance of original documents for the second wave ends.
  • August 7 - order to enroll the second wave.

And how to get additional points for the Unified State Exam in 2017?

If someone doubts that they will win the competition for applicants based on the total points for the Unified State Exam, and at the same time does not have the opportunity to enter a prestigious university for contract training, you can try to correct the situation by paying more attention to your portfolio. In 2017, admissions committees of Russian universities have the right to award up to 10 additional points for a graduate’s personal achievements.

What exactly is included in the list of individual achievements approved by the Ministry of Education, as amended on July 29, 2016? Let's take into account that victories and prizes on final stage The All-Russian Olympiad for Schoolchildren and Olympiads from the list of the Ministry of Education and Science are not indicated in this list; such applicants are equated to persons who have scored 100 points in a subject corresponding to the profile of the Olympiad and are enrolled in a separate order.

  1. The title of champion or prize-winner of the Olympic or Deaflympic Games, winners of the World or European Championships Olympic sports sports.
  2. Members of national teams performing at international championships in Olympic sports.
  3. Graduates who have a gold badge for the GTO complex (required with a certificate).
  4. Certificate of secondary education with honors, certificate with a gold or silver medal.
  5. Secondary Diploma vocational education Honours.
  6. Victories and prize places in Olympiads that are not taken into account as a preferential right to a given area of training, as well as prize places in regional stage(third) All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren.
  7. Participation in volunteer activities, confirmed by a certificate, provided that the applicant was a volunteer no later than four years before the current admissions campaign.
  8. The grade assigned by the university based on the results of checking the final essay that students write in December.

Universities, unfortunately, pay least attention to volunteer activities. Olympic champions and certificates with honors are respected by almost all universities, and GTO badges are also most often accepted by the admissions committee as an argument in favor of awarding additional points. But in different universities, applicants are awarded different numbers of points for success in physical education. Each university independently decides how many points it should evaluate the physical fitness of its freshmen.

Today anyone can take the GTO complex for free; you just need to prepare for several sports disciplines. Running a hundred meters, running three kilometers (2 km for girls), pull-ups on a horizontal bar for boys and from a lying position on a low crossbar for girls, as well as bending while standing on a bench. In addition, candidates must pass disciplines of their choice: long jump, swimming, cross-country skiing, rifle shooting, projectile throwing, kettlebell snatch for youths, as well as testing sports skills on a camping trip.

How many points can you get for a gold TRP badge in the 2017 admissions campaign?

Several universities in Moscow:

  • at the Pirogov Medical University they give 2 points for the GTO;
  • RANEPA - 2 points;
  • National Research University Higher School of Economics - up to 5;
  • Moscow State University - 2;
  • MGIMO - 1

in St. Petersburg:

  • UFS im. Lesgafta – 10 points;
  • SUAI – 10;
  • POLYTECH - 10;
  • LETI - 3;
  • Institute of Technology – 3;
  • ITMO - 2;
  • BSTU VOENMEH – 2
  • St. Petersburg State University - 1.

As you can see, bonuses are accrued in a very diverse manner. And yet, it turns out, you can not have such brilliant knowledge in mathematics and physics as another applicant, but pass the competition for a technical area of training and leave your competitor “out of luck” simply because you have a GTO badge. That is, you run faster and do more pull-ups in a certain time. And so not only for the technical direction of training, but also for legal and medical training, too. Is it good or bad?

The fact that the government of our country has begun to pay great attention to physical education and promoting a healthy lifestyle is undoubtedly a plus. Schoolchildren now have three physical education lessons a week, and each school has a modern football field in the courtyard, which should benefit the younger generation. But is it right to get an advantage when entering a university for sporting achievements if it trains not athletes, but, for example, design engineers?

It seems, simply based on common sense, one or two points for a gold TRP badge is understandable, but 10 points for physical education and the same 10 points for a certificate with a gold medal are still incomparable merits.

Since 2015, universities have been allowed to award applicants up to twenty points for individual achievements. Many children completely forgot about lessons, preparation for the Unified State Exam and rushed to collect portfolios: certificates of participation in the volunteer movement, diplomas from all competitions, large and small Olympiads, certificates from all sports competitions. Having looked at the results of the adopted resolutions, officials from the Ministry of Education and Science allowed a total of no more than ten additional points to be awarded for individual achievements. But again, the right to decide exactly how many points and for what successes was given to the discretion of the leadership of universities.

Thus, in some universities (UFS named after Lesgaft, St. Petersburg Polytechnic University and State University of Aviation Administration) there is now complete equalization. All applicants who have merits from the list approved by the Ministry of Education and Science will be awarded the same 10 points - both for winning the subject Olympiad, and for the GTO badge, and for the years of work aimed at obtaining a certificate with honors.

And reality, as always, responds to new challenges. In St. Petersburg, for example, twenty centers have already been opened where you can take physical education standards and receive the coveted badges. And imagine, strange cases have already been noticed when graduates (who look rather sickly, and not at all athletic) claim that they will receive additional points because they have gold for the GTO standards. And, as a result, such applicants have reduced motivation to participate in subject Olympiads at the university level.

What do you think about the existing system of awarding additional points to applicants? And what system do you think would be fair? Join our discussions in the “comments” or share your thoughts by writing your own article or note about it.

The all-Russian project “Ready for Labor and Defense” is presented in the form of a modern physical education and sports complex, which is becoming more and more popular every year. What badge is issued after successfully passing the TRP standards, and what privileges does the participant who received it receive? This public sports movement has a different meaning for every citizen of Russia.

Some want confirmation of their excellent physical training and mastery in various sports fields, others strive to be the successors of previous generations, because it was in the 30s of the last century that our grandparents became the first participants in this program. Continuing sports family traditions is always honorable and symbolic. The owner of the insignia also receives other privileges. So, how to get a GTO badge, and what benefits does it give its owner?

By receiving merit badges for participating in GTO competitions, the participant not only demonstrates his highest physical fitness, but also has the opportunity to take advantage of other privileges.

  1. Working people will receive additional vacation days and a salary increase, the amount of which varies depending on the employer’s decision.
  2. Orders on awarding TRP insignia also provide for additional privileges for schoolchildren. We are talking about additional points upon admission. To find out how many points a GTO badge gives upon admission, you should familiarize yourself with the requirements of a particular educational institution. On average, universities add from 1 to 3 points, which can significantly raise you in the ranking of applicants competing for a budget place on the course. Many people are interested in how many points Moskovsky adds State University. As of 2020, you can count on an additional two points. Samara State University adds one point. In all these cases we are talking about a gold sign.
  3. Golden insignia allow a student to count on an increased scholarship when entering a university. These privileges are confirmed by paragraph 44 of the “Procedure for Admission to Study,” which was already approved by the order of the Ministry of Education and Science back in 2015. You can safely find out more detailed information upon admission directly from the admissions office.

It is worth remembering that successful completion of the GTO complex is not only about being awarded a special badge. The primary thing to remember is to improve your inner self and yourself as an individual.

During the preparatory period for passing the GTO standards, you strengthen yourself physically and mentally, increase your own determination and improve coordination. The insignia demonstrates a commitment to healthy image life and active life position as a citizen of a great Russian Federation.

Types of icons

If you decide to participate in sports competitions within the framework of the all-Russian project “Ready for Labor and Defense”, it is worth knowing what is required for successfully passing the standards in accordance with the requirements for specific exercises you can get a reward. A completely logical question arises: what badge is issued after successfully passing the GTO? The reward corresponds to three levels, hence there are three different badges.

  • The gold insignia is the main and most coveted one.
  • The silver sign ranks second in importance.
  • The bronze-colored icon belongs to the third level of difficulty.

In general, there is a slight difference in requirements and standards between these three awards, most often these are mere seconds.

To find out which badge you can apply for, just study the section of the official TRP website with standards, where the requirements for participants are detailed depending on age group and the difficulty of the exercises.

What does the GTO badge look like?

To make a modern insignia, Tsamak alloy is used with the appropriate coating for bronze, silver and gold. The plating of a gold badge involves the use of imitation gold with high quality polishing. All types of badges have 2 levels of relief and standard dimensions of 24x24 mm with a thickness of 1.2 mm. In the image below you can see what a modern TRP badge looks like.

The appearance of the badges was approved by the relevant order. Each insignia of the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Complex “Ready for Labor and Defense,” regardless of color, looks like a stylized multi-pointed star, in the central zone of which there is a sector of a special color, against which a rising sun and a running athlete are depicted. The color of this zone directly depends on the color of the icon itself.

  1. Green background for a bronze distinctive sign obtained on the basis of the results of passing the standards of the GTO program as part of sports competition.
  2. Silver decals have a blue background.
  3. A running athlete on a red background is characteristic of the highest degree of award for top scores based on the results of sports competitions within the framework of the “Ready for Labor and Defense” project. We are talking about a gold badge.

To cover each colored zone, translucent enamel is used, the properties of which allow the diverging rays of the rising sun to effectively shine through. A wide relief edging in the form of laurel branches and parallel arched rays that emerge from them frames the central colored zone with a running athlete. On both sides of the person there are ribbons of the flag of the Russian Federation. The inscription in the form of the abbreviation “GTO” is written in red on all signs. The coat of arms of the Russian Federation is located in the upper zone of the sign.

The lower zone of the sign contains a serial number from 1 to 11, which identifies the level depending on the age category of the awarded participant. The serial number is also indicated in a separate color.

  • green for bronze insignia;
  • blue for silver insignia;
  • red color for badges awarded to participants for the most high achievements in the field of sports and physical training.

The reverse side of the insignia for achievements in the field of physical training, confirmed by successful passing of the GTO standards, is equipped with a special fastener, thanks to which the accessory can be easily and securely fixed to clothing.

How do you find out which GTO badge you received?

To find out which merit badge for achievements in physical development received by a participant as part of the “Ready for Labor and Defense” sports competition, just go to Personal Area and view rewards for participating in events in the My Results section. If you have not yet participated in competitions, but wish you had an idea of the level of your own physical fitness and compliance of your skills with the requirements, study the section with standards.
